Product Manager @ Depression Detection using AI/ML
Built a web application to assist users in identifying depression early by utilizing their daily activity data and sleep cycle pattern combined with machine learning (ML) models. The major issue with depression right now is that there are no established methods for identifying it early, which causes therapy to be delayed and has detrimental consequences.

We began our project with in-depth market research and analysis, reading a lot of previously published research papers in this field to understand the current market solutions. Additionally, we performed several interviews with a variety of stakeholders, including psychotherapists, medical experts, persons who have recovered from depression, and those who are still depressed. Following the interviews, we concentrated on brainstorming to identify the underlying causes of the issues and possible solutions for our user persona.
After determining the problems, we created a preliminary plan of action for our MVP and used agile development to create it. We determined the project's scope and broke the overall project into manageable milestones. All the milestones were divided into sprints, and for each two-week sprint, user stories were generated in collaboration with the technical team.

At the conclusion of the project, we created our MVP and successfully demonstrated a working model to our cohort, allowing users to upload motor activity data from smart watches to our application and receive recommendations on how to increase the likelihood of staying fit and prevent oneself from falling into a depressive state.

Product Manager @ Commute Buddy - SSO Based Ride Sharing
The average full-time community college student, according to the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), spends close to $2000 a year on transportation. The increased cost is mostly caused by the inaccessibility of student accommodation and the dependence on commuting to college while juggling the demands of employment and family obligations. In California, full-time student tuition is equal to or more expensive than transportation expenses.
Commute Buddy’s purpose is to provide a convenient transportation alternative to the student community. Commute Buddy’s mission is to turn the costly, unsafe cab hailing experience to the cost-effective, safe and reliable experience.
Commute Buddy will carry out this mission by turning the students on campus into ride-sharers, who can let the fellow students hitchhike until a certain point on their way or till the destination of the rider’s ask as per their convenience. Commute Buddy aims to be the desired platform to commute to schools safely and cheaply, with friends. Commute Buddy plans to become a provider of transportation to the students of a University run by students and for the students.
